Can I live in my house during the build?
Yes, you can continue to live in your home while we build your extension. We will erect temporary structures to make sure your house stays warm and watertight during the build.
Do I need to deal with Building Control?
We will liaise with Building Control on your behalf, ensuring that inspections are booked and carried out at the right stages during the build.
Do I need planning permission?
You may need planning permission for your extension. Some simple extensions can be carried out under ‘permitted development’. Larger extensions often involve submitting a planning application to the planning office. We can advise you on all planning related matters and we can guide you through the planning process if you do need permission.
How long does it take to build an extension?
That depends on the size and complexity of the extension, and generally ranges between 3 – 6 months. We will provide you with a detailed timeline before work commences, so you will know exactly how long your project will last from the outset.
Do I need to find separate plumbers, electricians, plasterers, etc?
We will supply and manage all tradesmen required to complete your project. We will be your single point of contact throughout the build, and we will stand over all work completed by our various trades.
Do I get a warranty?
Yes, we stand over all of our extension work with a 15-year structural warranty, which is 50% longer than the industry standard.
Do I need to pay anything upfront?
No, you won’t pay a penny until our tradesmen arrive onsite.
