The Problem
Our clients purchased a detached house that required some much-needed modernisation.
One of the main issues was an old rear conservatory that was too warm in the summer and too cold in the winter.
Their children had to play in the existing living room, which meant no peace and quiet for the parents and restricted the available space for their children.
They wanted to repurpose the wasted conservatory space to form a new play area tailored to the needs of their two children.
The Solution
We knocked down the existing conservatory and built a modern pitched roof extension in its place.
This new extension was built and insulated to the highest contemporary standards, so it was cool in the summer and cosy in the winter.
Our clients used this space to create a video games room for their teenage son and an adjacent playroom for their young daughter.
This liberated the current living room from clutter, confining all the typical mess within the newly built playroom and games room space.
This also restored the existing living room as a space where our clients could relax and unwind whenever they wished.
